Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum - honorifically referred to as Sheikh Mohammed - assumed power as UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai in 2006 - and the pace of development in Dubai has barely paused since.
A third of four sons of Sheik Rashid – who was made crown prince by his brother Sheik Maktoum before he died - he has the same vision, compassion, and mastery of detail as his father whose role and legacy he has largely replicated many times over.
